We're seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly skilled Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our client's 200-bed facility in Louisville, TN.
This role will continue leading the dedicated staff providing exceptional care for patients in detox and residential levels of care. Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Program Management: Oversee the nursing team, including RNs, LPNs, Unit Clerks, and Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
- Staff Supervision & Development: Oversee staffing, hiring, training, and ongoing development of nursing and support staff. Conduct regular staff meetings, and performance evaluations, and offer professional growth opportunities.
- Collaboration & Community Impact: Build and maintain collaborative relationships with local partners, schools, government agencies, legal systems, and others to enhance the delivery of services.
- Clinical Consultation & Support: Provide case consultation and guidance to staff, supporting client success and ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices and recovery-focused initiatives.
- Budget & Resource Management: Assist with budget planning, monitor revenue and expenses, and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain privacy and confidentiality of all client and staff information. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Training & Education: Provide staff training on trauma-informed care, substance use disorder, and recovery best practices to support the clinical and recovery needs of clients.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of supervisory or management experience in a healthcare or addiction-related setting.
- Experience working with high-risk populations, particularly in the field of addiction, substance use disorder, and recovery, is highly preferred.
- Ability to manage a large, multi-building campus and oversee patient care across various levels of treatment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage staff, clients, and community partners.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and experience working with vulnerable populations.
